Thanks to Cycles Lambert for offering such great gear!

Catlike Whisper Helmet (Black w/ blue stripe)

The Catlike Whisper helmet was my first Catlike helmet and the first thing I noticed when I put it on was how light it was! Weighing in at 240 grams (Small), this unique helmet is one of the lighter ones on the market.
Now, speaking of unique, the look of this helmet is definitely different from any other helmets out there! With 39 air vents, this bee-hive like helmet allows for really good ventilation, which is awesome when you are racing humid, high paced criteriums or going out for long, hot road rides. What makes this helmet just that much more epic is its colour scheme. I got the black model with a blue stripe that is almost a perfect match to my blue, black and orange Local Ride kit!

Galaxia T1100 Tacx Rollers

These rollers are amazing! The first thing I noticed when I got on them was how stable and smooth they are. I felt completely comfortable with no worry of falling off. With this super cool swing system, although I was nervous about them being unsteady at first sight, they moved with me and absorbed any shocks of my bike being thrown forward when I did efforts. The two sides slide together, so compared to some rollers which don't collapse at all, these ones make for easier transport and storage. I love the sleek look and design of these rollers with the cool, highlighted icy blue and curvy black sides. Looking at them, I find that no matter how dirty they become, the glossy, flashy surface on the rollers keep them looking new!

Tifosi Podium S Gloss Carbon Light Night Fototec Glasses

These glasses, I find, are perfect for those overcast days or evening rides that aren't too bright. With their Light Night Fototec lenses, they go almost completely clear to dark enough to block out dim lighting. At only 29 grams, they feel comfortably light on my face, so much so, that I easily forget that they're there. The worry with glasses is always "will they look good on my face?." At least in my case, I find that these glossy carbon, frameless glasses live up to their sophisticated name and the sleek, cool look, look very good on me!

Honey Stinger Protein Bars

Whenever I go to a bike race, I always look forward to my pre-race snack of a Honey Stinger Protein Bar! I must, admit, they are my guilty pleasures! I absolutely love the perfectly balanced chocolaty minty flavour of the Dark Chocolate Mint Almond Pro, and the thick peanut butter- chocolate flavours of the Peanut Butta Protein Bar. They are all so good, and BTW, are made with gluten free ingredients!! Best part is, eating them during a long ride or just before a race, they are so easily digested that I, personally, do not feel sick when I race after having one of these delightful bars! I would definitely recommend these protein bars as a snack for any activity or sport were you need a boost of energy or are just plain hungry!
